The Frank Field Education Trust (FFET) Central Team supports the Operational, Financial, Marketing, and Human Resources services to our schools, allowing Principals and senior leaders to focus on providing the best all round education to their pupils.
Led by the Chief Operating Officer, the central team have both strategic and operational responsibility across the following areas:
Finance
Our dedicated finance team provides comprehensive support to our schools in areas of budgeting, purchasing, invoicing and payroll. The finance team also provides regular financial reporting to individual schools and the Trust Board, supports schools with capital investment spending and manages all ESFA returns.
Human Resources
Our HR team provides comprehensive support and advice to schools around recruitment, employment and attendance management. They will advise on job descriptions and adverts; pay and grading of posts; probationary periods; assist with referrals to Occupational Health and management of short and long-term absences.
The Marketing and Communications Team oversees the Trust website and social media and supports individual schools to develop their websites ensuring they are compliant and fit for purpose. They are also responsible for brand oversight across the Trust; production of Trust and school publications, social media, marketing and media relations.

The central team will also ensures essential services such as ICT and catering are fit for purpose and represent value for money. They are the key contact for all capital projects; manage all large scale procurement across the Trust; support school Business Managers and ensure GDPR compliance.
We support schools to ensure their buildings are compliant, safe, warm and dry. We oversee Health and Safety compliance across the Trust; arrange condition reports and help schools implement regular building maintenance programmes.
