Early Life is a baby group for families with babies of a similar age. It is a local, community-based group of people, who are facing similar experiences during the early years of their child’s life. By being part of this group, you will have the opportunity to access free resources, trips and play-based sessions, such as Infant Massage; Sing and Sign and Journey to Nursery. These sessions will be organised by your dedicated Early Life Worker, who will be a support to you and your family, through all aspects of adjusting to life with a new baby.
1. What is an Early Life Worker?
We have a Senior Early Life Worker (MAT Cover) named Emma, and a second Early Life Worker named Rebecca. Both of whom are there to arrange and deliver weekly group sessions, and act as a support to you and your family throughout the first two years of life with a new baby!
2. What is the Early Life Group?
The Early Life group has weekly play-based sessions (term-time only), with additional themed events during holidays such as coffee mornings and local trips and visits. You will have the opportunity to access free resources to use at home, such as story sacks and playdoh bags, so you can carry on the learning and play at home! You will have regular contact from your Early Life Worker who will be able to help with all aspects of life with your new baby - as well as creating a network of new parents local to you!
3. How much does it cost?
The group is free! We have funding to allow the group and activities to happen at no cost to the families who are involved. The only criteria is that you live in Ellesmere Port.
4. Who do we work with?
We work with a number of local schools and agencies. A selection of these can be viewed by clicking below.
