The Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ Wilmslow Grange Primary School has today (1 February 2019) entered into the Frank Field Education Trust, chaired by the Rt Hon Frank Field MP. The news comes three weeks after the Trust announced it was taking on its first school in Ellesmere Port.
Mark Unwin, Headteacher at Wilmslow Grange, has played an integral part in the early growth of the Trust, which is committed to promoting social justice through excellence in education.
Wilmslow Grange is an outstanding school and is nationally recognised for curriculum development. The school is also known for its excellent SEND provision, especially for those with autistic spectrum disorder. The school will be renamed Handforth Grange Primary School later in February 2019 to better recognise its local roots.
